Story
Description:
The number of refugees making a desperate attempt to get from war zones to the coasts of Europe is steadily increasing. So far, humanitarian aid has been limited to patrolling the shores, but the extra-territorial Mediterranean area is out of control. The concept is to create floating villages that use existing structures instead of creating completely new ones. Using abandoned container ships from the coasts of India, Bangladesh or Pakistan, it is possible to create stable floating platforms. They are the basis for the urban structure made of ISO 40 containers, which are divided into: a quarantine area, administration and control zone. The lighthouse, located at the top of the control tower, is supposed to increase the chance of saving more people.
